Began as a designer at Pagani (Huayra/Zonda) and Dallara (2010-2012), then climbed Prema Racing's junior single-seater ladder from data engineer to race engineer across Italian F3, Formula Renault 2.0 and FIA F3 (2012-2017), engineering Lance Stroll, Nick Cassidy and 2016 title contender Maximilian Gunther. Joined the Silverstone F1 team (Force India, later Racing Point/Aston Martin) in Jan 2017 as a trackside performance engineer (Alonso, Stroll, Perez, Hulkenberg). CORRECTION vs earlier record: he did NOT move directly from Aston Martin to Cadillac - he joined Sauber in July 2024 as a senior performance engineer and stepped up to race engineer for Guanyu Zhou in H2 2024 (his F1 RE debut, scoring the team's only points of the year), before joining Cadillac as Perez's race engineer for 2026.
