Loïc Serra (born 1972 in Nancy, France) is a French F1 engineer, currently Chassis Technical Director at the Ferrari team. He graduated from Arts et Métiers ParisTech (ENSAM, Mechanical Engineering), and joined Michelin in 1996, first as a Quality Engineer before moving into the research center to focus on tires and vehicle dynamics, entering Michelin's F1 division around 2003 until Michelin's withdrawal in 2006. In October 2006 he joined BMW Sauber as Head of Vehicle Performance, moved to Mercedes in 2010, holding roles as Chief Vehicle Engineer (2010), Head of Vehicle Dynamics (2013), and Performance Director (2018), taking part in Mercedes' era of dominance. His move to Ferrari was officially announced in May 2024, and he formally took up the role of Chassis Technical Director in October.
