Research notes
Matteo Togninalli was born in 1977 in Sondrio, graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in Mechanical Engineering in 2003, and first worked at the Fiat Research Center, which is how he came into contact with Ferrari. He joined Ferrari's remote garage in 2005, became a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer in 2008, was promoted to Head of Race Performance Engineering in 2010, and has served as Head of the Trackside Engineering Department since 2015, overseeing all trackside technical work over a race weekend and leading the race performance engineering team at Maranello. Note: the English Wikipedia states his promotion to Head of Trackside Engineering occurred in 2016, but Ferrari's official biography records it as 2015;

This is the trackside engineering management level above race engineers on the Ferrari team card.
