Ben Waterhouse (born September 1979, England) graduated from Loughborough University in Automotive Engineering and moved into motorsport shortly afterwards. He joined the team (which became Red Bull Racing in 2005) in December 2003 as a Structural Analysis Engineer, later moving into Vehicle Dynamics. He moved to BMW Sauber in 2008, rising to Head of Vehicle Performance at Sauber. He returned to the Red Bull family in 2014, first as Deputy Technical Director at Toro Rosso in Italy, then back to Milton Keynes in 2017 as Deputy Head of Performance Engineering, and was promoted to Head of Performance Engineering in summer 2018. In April 2026 he was promoted to Chief Performance and Design Engineer, overseeing both design and vehicle performance, reporting directly to Technical Director Pierre Wache.
