Holder of a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Cambridge University, she joined Red Bull Racing as a student intern in late 2009 after graduating, moving within months into a Simulation and Modelling Engineer role, and transferring into the strategy department around 2011. She spent a long spell as a Senior Strategy Engineer, and from 2017 was stationed trackside handling live race strategy. She was promoted to Chief Strategy Engineer in 2021, becoming the central figure in Red Bull's strategy chain from the mission control room to the pit wall, coordinating race-day tyre strategy, pit stops and real-time decision-making;
from the 2026 season she was promoted to Head of Race Strategy. She is widely regarded as one of the most successful female engineers in F1.
At the strategy engineer/strategist level, not a driver's race engineer;
responsible for pit windows, tyre modelling, rival-behaviour modelling and real-time probability-based decisions.
