Research notes
Graeme Lowdon has a dual background in engineering and business: a bachelor's and master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, and an MBA from Newcastle University. He worked early in his career in the power industry (including at ABB), then founded several technology and racing companies (Just2Clicks, Eiger Racing, Nomad Digital). In late 2000 he joined Manor, helping it progress into an F1 team, and from 2010 to 2015 served as CEO, Chairman, and Sporting Director of the Virgin/Marussia F1 team. In December 2024 he was appointed by General Motors as Team Principal/CEO of the Cadillac F1 team, which makes its debut in 2026.
