Research notes
Publicly listed in the Team Members section of the official FIA Formula 2 team page. Auger started out interning at design offices such as D3 Group/Aéraulique, and earned a vocational degree in Competition Vehicle Development from the University of Le Mans as well as a Sbarro prototype-vehicle specialization. He joined DAMS as an F2 mechanic in 2021, briefly moved to Porsche Alméras as chief mechanic in 2022 before returning to DAMS, and worked his way up from third mechanic to F2 number-one mechanic since 2025 — a veteran mechanic at DAMS Lucas Oil. His LinkedIn profile clearly states his current role as DAMS (DAMS Lucas Oil) number-one mechanic, based in Le Mans/Ruaudin (DAMS's base), with education listed as a Competition Vehicle Development qualification from the University of Le Mans, fully consistent with the DAMS F2 mechanic identity in this batch.
