Leo Thomas has served as Stellantis Motorsport Formula E Programme Director since January 2024, responsible for supplying and developing the powertrain for both the DS Penske and Maserati MSG (now Citroen) teams, making him the technical linchpin of Citroen's FE powertrain effort. He has been deeply involved in Formula E since Season 1: he joined the Peugeot Le Mans programme in 2008 as a data analyst and rose to Race Engineer, moved to Sebastien Loeb Racing as Technical Manager in 2012, and joined DS's Formula E programme in 2016, serving as Sporting Director / Technical Lead.
