Ryan Dingle is a race engineer from Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, who speaks fluent Japanese and has spent nearly his entire career in Japanese motorsport. He studied materials engineering at UBC and racing engineering at Oxford Brookes University, then started out as a design engineer at Toda Racing before taking on engineering roles in Super Formula (Team LeMans, KCMG, Mugen) and SUPER GT (ARTA Honda), where he became the only non-Japanese chief engineer in the GT500 class. He joined Toyota's WEC programme in 2023 as race engineer for the #8 GR010/TR010 Hybrid Hypercar, and helped the car reach the podium at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans.
